About Us

Rybro Engineering AB is a company located in Kvidinge in Åstorp and was previosly named Roslunds Bil AB. Roslunds Bil AB was and will be the name of the truck/lorry break up business of heavier vehicles. Roslunds Bil AB was purchased the 1st of March 2007 by Håkan Rydbergh and Robin Brown. (explaining the name Rybro) to be the base for production of Mine Guzzler demining machines. The IPR of the Bofors Defence developed Mine Guzzler demining machine was aquired when Rybro International Ltd sold one Mine Guzzler demining machine to Iraq. The intention of aquiring the Roslunds BIl AB was to have it as a base for pontial orders of Mine Guzzler demining machines after the sale of the MIne Guzzler machine in 2005. Civil war in Iraq and export restrictions implemented by ISP/EU also for humanitarian demining machines has halted sale and production of Mine Guzzlers from within EU. Competitors to Mine Guzzler has production based in Switzerland and UK which are both none EU members. 

Roslunds BIl AB was managed as a body builder of heavy trucks mounting mainly cranes and lifthooks. Roslunds Bil AB and later Rybro Lastbilar AB has focused on crane liifthooks mounted on second hand truck chassies with the latest exaust levels offering a lower investment keeping the earnings similar to complete new vehicles. After a major credit loss after having built a wood chipper Roslunds Bil AB did file for reconstruction in 2013/14 and the buiness was continued in the company Rybro Lastbilar AB. During 2022 the operation is once again continuing under the name Rybro Engineering AB.

Rybro Engineering AB will focus on repairs, rebuild and service on heavy vehicles. The IPR of the Mine Guzzler machine is owned by the sister company Rybro International Ltd.

Both Rybro Engineering AB and Rybro International Ltd are fully owned subsidiaries to Rybro Holding AB.
